Your trip begins at the beautiful Pine Mountain Resort, where your guide will pick you up and drive you to your hiking destination. The Lost Ridges are a dramatic and truly untamed wilderness area. The remote landscape & stark beauty will keep you looking forward to what’s just over the next hill or just around the next bend in the path.
We will tailor the trip around your tastes and pace. This will be an opportunity to trek where the snow isn’t groomed and the drifts pile are so deep that you will certainly need your snowshoes to traverse the trail-less landscape. You’ll enter a silent world, peaceful & seemingly hushed by winter. The high elevations, white backdrop, and absence of dense foliage will make for deep & long views into the forest around you. It is an adventure that comes with its own form of managed adversity, but it’s also sure to be an experience you won’t forget.
